Gunna, the acclaimed YSL rapper, isn’t one to back down from trolls, but a recent incident pushed his limits when a brazen fan called him a “rat” to his face.
The 30-year-old rapper, who’s currently on probation after accepting a plea deal, was caught on camera facing the audacious troll and handling the situation with remarkable restraint.
In a video shared on Instagram, the fan shamelessly posted footage of himself confronting Gunna and his entourage as they were exiting a building. Loudly referring to Gunna as a “rat,” the troll seemed to be pushing the rapper’s buttons. However, Gunna’s security guard promptly intervened, approaching the fan and asking him to repeat his offensive remark.

The fan appeared to back down and left the derogatory term out of his next statement. Fans took to social media to react.
One fan commented, “That hurt Gunna feelings right there. Know he went in the sprinter and teared up.”
Another wrote, “Aye I give dude props, dude looked him straight in the eyes and said “whatever I wanted to say” and went back to recording. dude was not worried about soft voice billy the security.”
Another said, “boy life flashed before his eyes.”
Another wrote, “Security was gone smash him. when clout chasing goes wrong.”
The incident, while attention-grabbing, hasn’t seemed to faze Gunna. In fact, it might have inadvertently contributed to the success of his latest hit, “fukumean,” which has become his biggest solo hit to date. The rap community has taken notice, and the song has earned him recognition on the Hot 100, reaching an impressive #4 position.
Gunna’s artistry and ability to connect with his audience have remained at the forefront, overshadowing any attempts to tarnish his reputation. His talent continues to blossom, and his fans have been unwavering in their support, making “fukumean” a chart-topping success.
