Rapper Lil Murden is playing with fire by offering $100,000 to anyone who kills Tekashi 6ix9ine. Murden posted a video on Instagram threatening the rapper. Although he didn’t name 6ix9ine by name, the message was clear.
“I see what’s going on Raleigh,” he said, referring to 6ix9ine’s upcoming show in Raleigh, N.C. in July. “I got 100 up for anything to happen to a famous rat. 100. And a guarantee that 100 will touch your bank account or in your hand.”
Murden called 6ix9ine a rat because the rapper testified against his fellow gang members in 2018. 6ix9ine defended himself by noting that he was betrayed when his own security team kidnapped and pistol-whipped him in New York. He was knocked unconscious and thrown inside a vehicle. The men then drove to the rapper’s home and forced his girlfriend to bring them jewelry and cash for 6ix9ine’s release.
After receiving $750,000 worth of jewelry and nearly $20,000 in cash, the robbers drove off with 6ix9ine still in the car. He managed to escape at some point and jumped in the car of a passerby begging for help, who called 911. The “BEBE” rapper was hospitalized for his injuries. The rapper testified against his crew, who betrayed him, which led to their convictions.

Despite 6ix9ine’s betrayal, some on the street feel that he shouldn’t have testified against his crew, even though they betrayed him. Apparently, Lil Murden is one of them.
Murden has threatened 6ix9ine before. In 2020, he invited fans to kill 6ix9ine’s family, including his children. He posted on social media that gang members should “go kill his kids, mom, and baby mama. He took your family. Go take his family.”
After Murden’s latest threat, fans let him know he was out of order.
One Instagram user wrote that Murden snitched on himself by posting the video. Another sarcastically said the video was smart. Others joked that he should spend the money on his children.

Let’s hope that nobody takes Murden up on this foolishness and that 6ix9ine hires extra security for his concert in Raleigh.
