Millionaires Sheneya Wilson, Ellie Diop and Sevetri Wilson are three successful young business owners who are creating wealth for themselves and others, and they are all in their twenties.

Sheneya Wilson was working as an accountant at a New York accounting firm when she decided to start her own business after being complimented by a client she’d helped, according to Forbes. The client told her that she made the difficult to understand financial information easy to comprehend.

The accountant founded her own accounting firm in 2017. Fola Financial helps small businesses and other entrepreneurs. She calls herself “The People’s CPA.” The 27-year-old provides her clients with bookkeeping, tax preparation services and tax planning. She has lowered her client’s tax rate by 15 to 30 percent. Wilson is also helping others learn how to begin a tax business through another venture, the Tax Essentials Learning Program (T.E.L.P).

“Please never let a job title, a degree, or a person be the factor that stands in the at between you and pursuing your dream,” said Sheneya. “Those things will always be there. But your time and opportunities are not so secure. You never know what is waiting for you on the other side. Be a risk-taker and do it with confidence.”

Twenty-eight-year-old Ellie Diop made her fortune by using her stimulus check to invest in her business, Ellie Talks Money. Diop coaches millennials and others who are trying to start a business. She spent $450 creating her website and offered free content to build her audience and marketed her services on Instagram daily. Her online coaching business began in 2020, and the young entrepreneur has already earned $1.3 million.

“I spent 45 days scrolling through Instagram every day, researching, following hashtags, before making my first post,” she said. “It is important to look at who is having success in the field, analyze what they are doing that is working, and identify which needs they are not meeting. Be in front of your audience. Your customers have to like you, trust you, so they can continue coming back. Show up as yourself.”

Sevetri Wilson is only 22-years-old and is CEO of her tech company Resilia based in New Orleans. The company helps non-profits achieve scale. She is also the author of “Solid Ground: How I Built a 7-Figure Company at 22 with Zero Capital.” Her book outlines how she made her business successful and gives tangible advice to readers.

“I want founders to know that if I can do it,” said Sevetri. “A Black female founder from the south with little to no resources, then they can do it too. But I don’t just want to say that I give actionable, and tangible steps on how I did it.”
