Rapper Fat Joe and Big Pun’s widow, Liza Rios, had words on Instagram after N.O.R.E. claimed that Joe wanted an apology from Rios, according to Hot New Hip Hop. Rios had previously accused Joe of stealing Pun’s royalties after his death.
N.O.R.E. discussed Pun’s contract on THE HIP-HOP WOLF show on Instagram. N.O.R.E, otherwise known as Victor Santiago, Jr., claimed that he saw Pun’s contract and alleged it was standard. Santiago added that Joe did not rob from Pun, as Rios had claimed.
Once Rios heard about the the video, she had a lot to say. She claimed that Joe stole $2.3 million in royalties that belonged to her husband.
“Joe want me to apologize to him for me going after what was rightfully my families!!? He is responsible for over 2.3 million in royalties that was never paid to Pun it’s all in the court papers! All public info!”
Rios also laid into N.O.R.E. She asked how he thought his wife would behave if he died and his family ended up homeless. Rios dared the host to ask her how’d she react to similar circumstances.
“@therealnoreaga I promise you if you passed away and who ever your signed to takes all the money that was rightfully yours and leaves your wife and kids with nothing and homeless you don’t think your wife is gonna fight for what is yours and your kids! Ask HER!! Please I seen your wife she won’t play that. Stop it Pun is looking at you crazy!”

Fat Joe responded to Rios’ comments and defended himself against her claims. Joe said that he had given Rios $100,000 after Pun’s death but that she carelessly spent it. He also called her out for lying to her children.
“@iamlizarios tellem about that money i got you when he died you spent it then put out that documentary you want holding pun down on that doc just say the truth I’ve always been [100] with pun and Nore knows that.
“@iamlizarios i never lost that case i never owed you a cent he is still unrecouped you was sitting their when the judge asked you why I’m here i owed nothing just say the truth that’s all.”
“I never cheated with his brother I cheated with the guy from my moms block Pun knew about it like I knew about his multiple affairs!! And that got nothing to do with Pun and his kids getting THEIR Money! Stay out of grown folks business. ?.
