The Weeknd’s ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ Tour Beat Michael Jackson’s Record As The Best-Selling Tour In History By A Black Musician

Recent news surrounding singer The Weeknd has Black social media users and Michael Jackson fans 38-hot. A tweet claimed singer The Weeknd’s “After Hours Til Dawn” stadium tour beat the “Thriller” hitmaker’s record by becoming the best-selling tour in history by a Black artist.

Michael held the record with $311 million with inflation. The Weeknd now holds the record with $350 million in sales.

Yea but Michael did it without Social media, it doesn’t compare. Just like streams & downloads don’t compare to physical CD/cassette/album sales. Today you can buy tickets from your phone on lunch break. With MJ you had to go to ticketmaster & buy the ticket in person.

Honestly speaking, The Weeknd is basically just a half-decent MJ impersonator. He imitates his voice without any of the soul and seasoning and almost adds nothing else at all.

He’s definitely still pretty good, but how he got this popular is beyond me. Gotta respect it ig.
