Steve Harvey amused contestants, the audience and the world with a little dance he did in response to a questionable answer given by a Family Feud guest.
Weird and nonsensical answers are common on Family Feud and usually, Steve Harvey responds with an exaggerated facial expression or joke. However, on the most recent episode of Celebrity Family Feud, one guest’s answer sent the host into a shuffle.
On black-ish star Deon Cole’s team, things were going well. They had won control after he bested Tisha Campbell at the buzzer on the question, “Name someone you might worry would actually dance on your grave someday.”
Cole’s team gave most of the correct answers. When Harvey came back around to his teammate, Kelley Kali, she gave an answer that few people expected.
“Your doctor. ‘Cause you don’t listen to his advice,” she said.
It’s possible.
Taken aback by the answer, Steve Harvey broke into a dance that was part church, part fraternity, and part tap.
Along with the dance, Harvey made up a little ditty about the pretend doctor telling their pretend deceased patient that they had diabetes.
Of course, the stunt earned Harvey uproarious laughter from the contestants and the audience.
The veteran comedian knows how to keep a crowd laughing be it purposeful or by doing things like announcing the wrong winner of a beauty pageant.
Harvey has been hosting Family Feud since 2010. He is considered the second-best host in the 44-year-old game show’s history. The show is in syndication but soon, Harvey will surpass original host Richard Dawson’s tenure.
When he is not hosting the game show, he is spoiling his wife of fourteen years, Marjorie Harvey, and fielding questions about his adopted daughter Lori’s romantic interests.
