Nicki Minaj fans dissed rival Cardi B in her new single “We Go Up.” According to the lyrics from Genius, the Queens rapper talked about an unidentified person’s appearance, and many believe she was taking shots at Cardi.
At the 0:49 mark of the song, Minaj says, “Let’s see, After all of that surgery, you are still ugly, And that is what gets me,” leaving many to believe the 39-year-old was referring to the “WAP” artist. Meanwhile, Cardi has had several cosmetic surgeries done, including liposuction, breast augmentation, and veneers applied to her teeth. However, one could argue that Minaj also had cosmetic procedures done to enhance her bodily appearance.
After the song went viral, Twitter users shared their opinions on whether the “Truffle Butter” rapper was talking about the Bronx native or not.
