On Sunday, at the pre-show red carpet for the BET Awards 2021, rap legend Lil’ Kim said she’d be down to challenge Nicki Minaj in the Swizz Beatz and Timbaland-fronted series, Verzuz.

When Kim was asked if she would ever do a Verzuz battle on the red carpet, she responded, “Yes.”

She was asked who she would like to battle against, and the artist replied, “Nicki.”

She added, “I would love to see that.”

The beef between the two rappers goes back a decade, but Verzuz has a knack for bringing former enemies together for an epic night.

Whether or not the two will throw down on the mic is a mystery.

Fans are buzzing at the possibility of a rap-off between the two.

One person tweeted, “I know ppl are looking for a contemporary, but I love that Kim directly mentioned Nicki to show it’s no beef & would close that chapter for good.”

Some even believe that the battle would be the hottest one Verzuz has seen yet!
