Jesseca “Judy” Dupart-Harris had to set the record straight regarding the misinformation about her and Shawntae “Da Brat” Harris’ recent pregnancy announcement. Judy denied that Da Brat’s sister, LisaRaye, found out about their pregnancy via social media.

Several reports claimed LisaRaye discovered Da Brat’s recent pregnancy through social media, not her sister.
In response, Judy ran to the comment sections of gossip sites’ Instagram accounts and denied the claims.
“SHADEROOM, please check the date on this interview and the accuracy, this is just honestly not a good time as her mom just passed,” Judy wrote. “Let’s keep LisaRaye in our prayers.”
Under another post, Judy commented, “Stop putting these lies out while she’s mourning. That interview she did was not recent. It was not during this pregnancy. It’s old prior to our current pregnancy.”
Many of the posts were deleted due to misinformation.
The allegation stemmed from an old interview LisaRaye did with Raquel Harper on her podcast It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper in February 2022, where she did say social media was how she found out.
But that was after Da Brat and Judy announced they were having their first child on Jan. 31, 2022. Unfortunately, the couple went through a miscarriage during their first pregnancy, according to People.
The “Funkdafied” rapper and her wife are now expecting their new baby.
Someone posted the old interview clip, tagging Harper, which caused the podcast’s host to reshare the clip.
“For those who want to know, all of my old interviews get brought up weekly on blogs,” Harper posted on her Instagram story, tagging the Neighborhood Talk. “It’s regular…If I am tagged, I just post, period. I have interviews from years ago that blogs still use. Once again, I am not the person who posted the story in the first place. Let’s be clear, I was minding my business and seen my name getting tagged, so I reposted. Period.”
Judy didn’t want the false information around when LisaRaye was still mourning the loss of her mother.
Additionally, LisaRaye and Da Brat have had a rocky relationship as sisters, which has been shown on WeTV’s Brat Loves Judy. In one episode, Da Brat expressed she didn’t like that her sister went public with her feelings about being kept out of the loop on Da Brat’s initial pregnancy.
