Khloe Kardashian has decided to move on from ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson after a four-year relationship with him. The KUWTK star shared the surprising details in an ABC News Special on Wednesday night.
According to CNN, Kardashian appeared on the special to discuss her family and the drama-filled relationship with the 31-year-old NBA player.
“With Tristan, I did feel incredibly safe in the beginning, and I felt really good for a time,” Kardashian said.
However, the 37-year-old revealed that Thompson was cheating on her days before giving birth to the former couple’s three-year-old daughter, True, documented in the family’s series Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
“I remember when he cheated on me right before I gave birth, and I was able to still have him in the delivery room,” Kardashian told Roberts. “So yes, it might have looked strange to the outside world, but when my daughter watches my home videos, those videos are going to be as pure and perfect as I was able to make them.”
The Chicago Bulls player was later rumored to be in a romantic fling with a former family friend, Jordyn Woods. And in January, Thompson confirmed in an Instagram statement that he fathered a child with his former personal trainer, 31-year-old Maralee Nichols, Sis2Sis reported.
Kardashian and Thompson reportedly split last summer.
During the interview, Kardashian told Roberts, “I still think he’s a great guy, and he’s a great dad. He’s just not the guy for me.”
Aside from the Good American founder closing one chapter of her life, new ones have begun for her sisters, Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian.
Kim discussed her pending divorce from ex-husband Kanye West, with whom she shares four children with the Chicago rapper. However, she said West is still considered family, despite their parental differences being shared on social media.
“You want to take the high road, and sometimes it’s hard,” she said. “I’ve always been a champion of him speaking his truth.”
Kourtney opened up about her relationship with musician and fiancé Travis Barker — the couple had a non-legal marriage in Las Vegas after the Grammys last weekend.
“When we think about ‘This is us, can you believe it?'” she told Roberts. “‘We’re Kourtney and Travis, who are friends.’ I felt like deep down, if we looked into each other’s eyes and made it physical, it would be over.”
The new docuseries entitled The Kardashians starts airing on Hulu on April 14.
