According to ABC News, Houston police have finally apprehended two men who are responsible for the murder of Migos rapper Takeoff.

On December 1, the second man, Patrick Clark, was charged with murder; the other, Cameron Joshua, was arrested the week before for felony weapon possession. The shooter is being held on a $2 million bond and is deemed a flight risk; after his next hearing, it was revealed that a video of Patrick Clark with a gun and a wine bottle was taken.

After shooting the rapper, he fled and left the bottle– which contained his fingerprints and led to his identification. Despite his defense arguing against it, the judge sustained that, regardless of his clean record, he needed to be monitored.

The Houston Police Department stated that they knew who the shooter was.

“We were able to deduce that Patrick Clark is the lethal shooter in the case.”

However, the second man’s involvement was significant enough to warrant his arrest. Law enforcement also confirmed that Takeoff wasn’t involved in any dangerous or rowdy activity that would have led to his death.

Seargent Michael Burrow said, “I can tell you that Takeoff was not involved in playing in the dice game. He was not involved in the argument that happened outside. He was not armed; he was an innocent bystander.”

Another officer agreed, “Definitely wrong place at the wrong time, no evidence whatsoever to say anything different.”

He added, “I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Takeoff, but everybody, the hundreds of people I talked to, spoke on what a great individual he was.”

Takeoff was shot multiple times and killed outside of a downtown Houston bowling alley, as previously reported. At just 28 years old, the rapper, whose real name is  Kirshnik Khari Ball, was pronounced dead on the scene after help was called by his uncle Quavo.
