Comedian Chris Rock is catching heat over a joke he cracked comparing him returning to host the Oscars with the 1994 murder of football great O.J. Simpson’s ex-wife.
According to AZ Central, Rock made the joke during his standup comedy routine at the Arizona Financial Theatre in Phoenix on Sunday. During the routine, he said hosting the Oscars again would be like Nicole Brown Simpson returning “to the restaurant” where she left her glasses the night she was killed.
Black Twitter had questions for white people, including unfunny woman Amy Schumer, who demonized Will Smith for defending his Black wife’s honor after Rock cracked an inappropriate joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head during the live Oscar broadcast in March.
Now since Chris Rock made insensitive remark about Nicole Brown murder, now everyone want to cancel him. How easily everything switch since we are talking about a yt woman.

Rock did bring up the incident now, infamously, known as “Slapgate,” during his comedy routine in Phoenix.
He spoke about Smith smacking fire from him and referenced the actor’s role in Ali.
“He’s bigger than me,” Rock said. “The state of Nevada would not sanction a fight between me and Will Smith.”
