Nigerian-American singer and actor Rotimi and his stunning Tanzanian singer/songwriter fiancée Vanessa Mdee are expecting their second child.
On Tuesday, the Power actor, born Olurotimi Akinosho and whose name means “God stays with me,” announced that he and Vanessa were adding another baby to their growing clan via Instagram.
“Baby #2!!! It’s a girl! ?,” Rotimi wrote in the caption. It appeared the post was a simultaneous baby announcement and a gender reveal. The “In My Bed” singer opened an umbrella that released pink confetti.

Vanessa and Rotimi have a 14-month-old son, Seven, born in September last year, according to Sis2Sis.
The doting mom and fiancée also mentioned how wonderful the pregnancy was for her.
“He’s been so good to us. No real pain or symptoms. Some funny cravings and food aversions here and there. It’s been much harder in these final weeks because he’s preparing his arrival, but all in all, we’ve been super blessed,” she said.
Rotimi asked him to marry him in December of the same year.
Along with the baby news, the accomplished singer just released a new single titled “Make You Say.”

In August, Rotimi’s 2019 bop, “Love Riddim,” was certified gold by RIAA.
