Love & Hip Hop: Miami‘s Amara La Negra reiterated Safaree’s sentiments about the two not dating, but she extended it, claiming their presumed romance was for ratings.
Amara appeared on Instagram Live, constricting everything to her simply doing her job.
“I just want to clarify for those that also watch me on Love & Hip Hop, whatever you see, believe whatever it is that you want to believe,” Amara told viewers. “Just know that I am working. I do my job, I get out, and I am working.”
The reality star acknowledged a comment about Safaree claiming they weren’t in a relationship and decided to address that.
“Mama, mira, listen, let me put it this way,” she said. “I’m a pretty smart girl. I believe that I am. I have come this far because I think I’m pretty smart. I get hired to do my job, and I do what I have to do. I do it well. We have good ratings. And with that being said, I have accomplished my mission.”
Amara continued, “Now, after that, you want to believe whatever it is you want, that’s on you.”
She told viewers she had been single and hadn’t had sex since her children’s father.
“As long as you give us those ratings, I’m going to give you what you want. So, if that’s what you want, that’s what you see,” she said.
Tuesday’s (Aug. 22) episode of LHHA, Safaree conversed with Spice about how he and baby mama Erica Mena continued sleeping together. Spice asked about things between him and Amara, and the Brooklyn rapper said they’ve been talking but stated his business with Erica had nothing to do with Amara.
