Ice-T’s wife, Coco Austin, recently explained her decision to breastfeed her five-year-old daughter, Chanel still.
In an interview with US Weekly where she shared some parenting tips, the mother told the outlet, “Chanel still likes my boobs.”
“It’s a big bonding moment for a mother and your child.”
Austin further explained that her daughter does eat food.
“Chanel does eat steak and hamburgers” and “likes a little snack every now and then.”
Austin added, “Why take that away from her? … If she doesn’t want it, all right, that’s where you stop it. But I’m not just going to say no.”

In a picture of her and Chanel from a year ago, the young mother said, “Suck up as much love as you can!”
”At this point, in nursing, it’s just for comfort. And believe me, the girl loves meat, so it’s not like she isn’t eating real food…Thank you to all that understand my view. I see most of you are so eager to side with me, and I, too, root for you in your journey as well. Us moms are connected.”

In another interview with the outlet in 2019, Austin said she doesn’t stand for haters.
“I want to give lovers time, not the haters. … [Nursing is] about giving love to your child and bonding with your child and also giving them good nutrition. Breast milk is like liquid gold. All around, it’s a good thing.”
Ice T also added to her support and said, “She only breastfeeds … like, when she cries [and] she just wants to get close to her mama.”
“She’s not doing it for nourishment. This chick eats chili fries, OK,” he continued.
In a recent social media post, Austin posted a picture of her and her daughter clinging to each other.
