The latest episode of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta proved that Erica Mena’s ex-husband and rapper Safaree Samuels is a whole a** mess!

Erica Mena, Sierra Gates and Bambi Benson sat together with drinks and a hookah chatting it up in one scene. Amid the discussion, Erica revealed that Safaree came to her in February of 2023, apologizing and begging to have his family back, resulting in the two getting intimate.
Erica then told Bambi they removed her from the group chat in March (a month after Safaree’s cowardice move) after Sierra exposed the rapper to his ex-wife, claiming he declared he wanted a relationship with her (Sierra) through text messages.

Viewers are already disgusted by Safaree’s actions. However, the next part rubbed people the wrong way. Sierra stated she had been texting Safaree about her issues with her ex-boyfriend, Eric Whitehead. That’s when he called and confessed he wanted a relationship with her, claiming to have always had a crush on her.
Sierra said Safaree admitted to recording her whenever she cooked at Erica’s house.
After the Neighborhood Talk posted the clip, commenters were confused about why Sierra, who’s supposed to be Erica’s friend, discussed her relationship issues with her friend’s baby daddy in the DMs.

“Why she on the phone w/ a man talking about another man? She kinda opened that door.”
Sierra responded, “This did not suppose to film on Love and Hip Hop. It supposed to [have] stayed between our friend group! Me and Erica both said we will never talk about this! I was caught off guard in this scene when Erica mentioned it!! That whole situation really [mentally] put me in a bad headspace!”
She continued, “Safaree was a husband to someone I called my sister! He was like a brother! Never seen that coming, and made me very uncomfortable! And I’m honestly going through my healing journey and don’t have time for this at all! You can tell I was very uncomfortable in this scene…I just want peace. I’ve been fussing with friends men, which is out of line going through my own battles in relationships! Dealing with my own traumas!”
In another post’s comment section, she stated that it was customary for the women to call their friends’ husbands because they were close, calling it “innocent.”
She then said the situation destroyed her friendship and wished she could take it all back.
The confusing part is that Sierra commented that she told Eric and Bambi before telling Erica, yet they supposedly concealed it by omitting her from the group chat.
