Simone Biles is inching closer to her wedding day with NFL player Jonathan Owens, and she celebrated in style over the weekend with a dreamy bridal shower.
The event was hosted by her closest family, friends, and loved ones and had a beautiful “On Cloud 9” theme. The outdoor shower took place at The Juliana, a lifestyle studio and event space in Houston, and featured all-white balloons fashioned like clouds, a cream cake, neon lights with phrases like “Bride to Be” and “On Cloud 9,” and “Simone Owens,” and a cocktail truck that served traditional Southern cuisine.

The bride-to-be looked stunning in a white beaded gown, while her friends donned blue dresses. Her closest confidantes, including her neice Ronni Louise Biles, her best friend and maid of honor Rachel Moore, and several bridesmaids, surrounded her with love and joy on her special day.

Biles also invited four champion gymnasts to the event, including Zoe Miller, Tiana Sumanasekera, Dulcy Caylor, and Joscelyn Roberson.

This bridal shower is just the latest in a series of celebrations for the happy couple.
As previously reported by Sis2Sis, the couple recently broke ground on their land for their soon-to-be home in Texas.
The announcement came a week after Biles shared videos and photos of her weekend bachelorette celebration in Belize.
The two announced they were engaged in February 2022, sharing photos on Instagram.
