In a since-deleted Instagram post, singer Kehlani (pronouns she/they) revealed they were sexually assaulted in the UK during one of her Blue Water Road Trip tour concerts.
Despite deleting the video, the “Honey” singer explained how the incident happened at the concert in an Instagram story.
“I’ve made video after video after video and deleted it because I don’t want any video of me as angry, triggered, crying upset as I am anywhere,” Kehlani wrote. “I don’t care how sexual you deem my music, my performances, my fun with my friends, dancing at clubs, or ME…”
She continued, “That does not give any of you the right to cross a boundary like sticking your hands up my skirt & pulling my underwear to TOUCH TO MY GENITALS as I am being escorted through a crowd after performing.”

The “Ring” crooner ended the story with, “This s**t made me sick to my stomach. As a victim of sexual assault, I am endlessly triggered and windblown.”
Many people on Twitter sent the popstar support and love, telling Kehlani they were sorry for what happened to her. Others called for the person who sexually assaulted the singer to come forward.
Sexual assault is so triggering & violating. I’m so sorry to Kehlani for what happened to her. No one deserves her. She should stop performing if she feels inclined to.
