On Feb. 22, rapper Da Brat and her long-time bae, Jesseca Dupart tied the knot.
According to People Magazine, the Atlanta-based couple was married in a beautiful country-themed wedding at the Horse Mansion in Fairburn, Georgia, ( a suburb about 20 miles south of Atlanta).
Da Brat, born Shawntae Harris, doted on her blushing bride, saying, “Everything about her made me want her to be mine forever. And I felt like I knew it not much longer than from the day we met.”
Dupart, who is pregnant with their first child, spoke to People about the importance of the date they married.
“We’ve been calling each other twin flames for a while. So this date, 2/22/22, is a significant event. We just didn’t want to miss it because it comes once in a lifetime. It’s relevant. It’s just real significant to our relationship. It signifies angel numbers, and it also is reminiscent of twin flames.”
The newlyweds shared gorgeous photos of the star-studded event on Instagram.
“Yesterday was a DREAM COME TRUE. We OFFICIALLY are BOTH Mrs. Harris-Dupart ?? Being surrounded by our closest family and friends we celebrated our LOVE STORY. WE IZ MARRIED NAH ??

Dupart and Da Brat’s dresses were designed by Dallas-based wedding couture designer Ese Azenabor.
Azenabor congratulated the blushing brides on Instagram.

Dupart also had a special touch added to her gown in honor of her deceased father. Azenabor went the extra mile and hand-delivered the ornate dresses to the couple.
“This experience was so special for us ! From @eseazenabor reaching out to us , which led to us flying to Dallas to try on gowns that she custom designed , to final fittings to seeing how Ese started to understand each of our personalities as she made our dresses… EACH to perfectly fit us and who we are, to adding a special addition to @darealbbjudy veil so her dad that passed could still be with her, to her being in Atlanta to actually get us into these masterpieces on OUR day…We just wanna say THANK YOU @eseazenabor. We have never felt so beautiful. #sosoblessed #sosoMRSHARRISDUPART.”
After the elaborate wedding, the newlyweds went to Turks and Caicos for their honeymoon.
Dupart posted a flirty caption on the sexy video taken as the couple cruised the Caribbean Sea.
“I haven’t personally taken a vacation or pulled COMPLETELY away from work in years …… maybe like 5 or so ??? but u see the way this HONEYMOON set up ??? my BEAURTIFUL deserves ALL my attention. I could only imagine how hard it is being with a workaholic ????? that never ever takes a BREAK. She waited years for this so I’m UNPLUGGING from work , we got ADULTING and MARRIED people things to do ????? @sosobrat.”
