Young Buck Arrested And Charged After Allegedly Vandalizing Ex-Girlfriend’s Property

Rapper Young Buck, of G-Unit fame, was arrested and charged by Nashville Police for vandalism after he allegedly damaged his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle.

WSMV reported that, according to an affidavit, Buck’s ex-girlfriend claimed that he texted her saying that he was coming to her house on Rockland Trail on Wednesday, Jan. 2. The affidavit stated that the 40-year-old musician kicked the front door when he arrived because she didn’t answer it.

Then, the document said, after Buck left, his ex went outside and saw that he smashed her car on both the driver and passenger sides, which was sitting in the driveway of her home.

Authorities confirmed that the woman’s car was damaged, and there was security camera footage of the alleged incident. Shortly after, they said, they spotted Buck driving the exact vehicle as the one in the surveillance video. Police made a traffic stop and arrested the musician.

Buck, whose real name is David Darnell Brown, was booked at Davidson County jail and was under a $1,000 bail, but he has already been released.

Although Buck’s name isn’t regularly in the media, it does pop up occasionally. Such is the case most recently when he was caught in the middle of a controversial rumor last summer. Chatter that the rapper was in an open relationship with a transgender woman was circulating, which was sparked by gossip blogger Tasha K.

“Buck has hit rock bottom. Buck is living with his trans girlfriend, who is his manager Charlie P used to be brother…So she’s trans now,” she said.

“That’s who Buck has settled down with. And apparently, everybody in Nashville knows now, okay? So he’s apparently out with his relationship,” she added.

The former G-Unit member never confirmed or denied the allegations.

Tasha K also mentioned his 2020 domestic violence case. He was arrested in Tennessee and charged with abusing his girlfriend following an altercation with her. She was previously arrested for allegedly firing a gun at Buck.
