WHAT ENGAGEMENT?! Chile, Amber Riley Is In Love With Her New Man And He Is FINE!

Former Glee star Amber Riley is happy and in love with her new beau.

Riley appeared on The Jason Lee Show and shared that she has moved on to a new lover less than a year after she called off her engagement with ex-fiancé Desean Black.

“I ran into you in Vegas, and you had a whole ‘nother man,” Lee told her, causing the actress to drop her jaw.

“So, that’s the new man?” Lee asked, and Riley confirmed. 

When asked how they met, Riley explained that it all started at a mutual friend’s birthday party.

“So we have two friends, their birthdays are like five days apart, so they had two birthday parties,” the Masked Singer champion said. “He was at the first birthday party — it’s a really long story…he was at the first birthday party, and we saw each other. We kind of like met outside.”

They were outside while he assisted a drunk male friend into an Uber. That led to them sparking up a conversation. 

“We kind of chopped it up a little bit, and I was like, God…he is so cute,” she recalled. “And then I saw him again a couple of days later at our other homeboy’s birthday party, and he was just like, ‘You need a drink?’ and ‘You look nice.’ And he was just like, he was nice. He was just really kind.”

Riley introduced the world to her new relationship on Valentine’s Day by posting a video slide show containing cute photos and videos of the two lovebirds.

Riley announced she was single on Nice & Neat The Podcast.

“I’m a single Black female, but I’m not a crazy one like in the movie,” referring to her Lifetime movie, Single Black Female. 

While it’s unclear what caused Riley and Black to break up, she did say in the podcast that it was “amicable.”

After the breakup, Riley began working

on herself, healthwise, ultimately losing a lot of weight. In an Instagram post, she claimed after her weight loss, men she had known for years started giving her attention, knowing they wouldn’t have in the past.
