“We Are Forever”: Law Roach Breaks Silence On Rumored Zendaya Feud Following Shock Retirement News

Zendaya and Roach 4L!

Law Roach, the renowned stylist who has been in the industry for a decade, recently announced his retirement from celebrity styling.

On Tuesday, Roach dropped an Instagram post announcing his retirement, citing “politics and false narratives.”

“My Cup is empty,” he wrote. “Thank you to everyone who’ve supported me and my career over the years. Every person that trusted me with their image, I’m so grateful for you all. If this business was just about the clothes, I would do it for the rest of my life. But unfortunately, it’s not! The politics, the lies and false narratives finally got me! You win. I’m out. ❤️❤️❤️”

Roach’s retirement announcement sparked rumors of a feud with Zendaya, his longtime client. However, he quickly shut down those rumors and reassured fans that he and Zendaya are “forever.”

On Wednesday, Roach tweeted, “So y’all really think I’m breaking up with Z? We are forever!”

He added, “She’s my little sister, and it’s real love, not the fake industry love.”

In a recent interview with Vogue, Roach clarified that he is not retiring from fashion altogether, but instead,  he is stepping away from the service aspect of the industry, which involves putting the needs of his clients before his own well-being.

“I’m not saying I’m retiring from fashion. I love fashion. I love the businesses, and I love being creative. What I’m retiring from is the celebrity styling part of it: the being in service and at service of other people. That’s what I’m retiring from, yeah,” he said.

Roach also shared that he’s been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support he’s received since making the announcement. When asked if he planned to transition into a different area of fashion, Roach said that he was still figuring things out, but he plans to teach and be more involved with people who look like him and want to pursue a career in fashion. He also expressed his desire to be remembered for changing people’s lives, not just for dressing celebrities in the best outfits.

In his most recent venture, Roach made his debut as a model for Boss’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection in Miami.
