Soulja Boy had an online feud with a man who claimed to have recorded Soulja Boy buying fake jewelry at a shopping mall on Aug. 11, XXL Magazine reported.
The man, who goes by WOO on Instagram, posted the video on his Instagram account.
The feud began after Soulja Boy, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, called WOO out after seeing the video of himself online buying jewelry. WOO claims that the jewelry was fake and said so in the caption.
“Soulja you dead wrong…. First Rapper To Get Caught Buyin Jewelry In The Middle Of The Mall,” he wrote.
WOO posted a second video of himself talking to the sales clerk, who seemed to confirm that Way bought real and fake jewelry.
Way responded to the man’s post with a video denying he bought any fake jewelry.
“Broke a** n***a. Walk in that same jewelry store that you just left in the mall and try to buy the Cartier, n***a,” said Way. “That muthaf***a $35,000. The Rollie $30,000. Everything over there real. They sell real ice in the mall, clout chasin’ ass p***y a**.”
After WOO saw Way’s video online denying he bought fake jewelry, WOO challenged him to talk to him directly, and after about three-and-a-half minutes, Soulja Boy appears, and the two begin to argue.
The Shade Room posted a video beginning where Soulja Boy appears with a caption.
“Whew! #SouljaBoy & the man who accused him of purchasing fake jewelry went live together earlier & exchanged some words. The man also went to the alleged booth & spoke with the employee to confirm if the jewelry was real ? ( SWIPE & see previous post ) ?:(@worldtourwoo ).”
