Love & Hip Hop star Safaree didn’t look very happy when his soon-to-be-ex wife, Erica Mena, told him they were having a baby. Mena revealed the news to her husband on Monday’s episode of the reality show.
Mena and Safaree were at home dining next to their pool when she showed her husband the ultrasound video for her second pregnancy. Safaree looked stunned and asked Mena how far along she was. Mena replied 23 weeks, which is nearly six months pregnant.
After the shock, Safaree looked disappointed and told Mena that she knew how he felt about having more children. He also noted they had just gotten through the first year of raising their daughter, Safire Majesty Samuels.
Safaree asked his wife, “So, what? You’re pregnant?”
“We’re pregnant,” Mena replied.
“How many weeks are you?”
“23… say something.”
“You know how I feel…about having more kids,” he said
“Are you sad? Are you, like, upset?”
“I don’t know what I am,” he said. “I feel like we just started getting the rhythm, Maji turning one. And, now we have to start all over again?”

Many viewers were shocked that anyone could not know that Mena was pregnant being that she was six months along. Others were more perplexed by Safaree’s response, and Twitter did what it does after viewing the realty show.

Mena eventually filed for a divorce, and the two have been fighting on social media ever since. Mena gave birth to the couple’s son in June, and Safaree seemed like a proud papa when he posted the announcement to his Instagram stories. However, Safaree was seen partying in Jamaica in July while his son and estranged wife were in the hospital’s ICU for 10 days.
