Van Hunt Serenades Halle Berry On 55th Birthday

Berry's birthday was Aug. 14.

According to Page Six, actress Halle Berry was serenaded by her musician boyfriend Van Jones for her 55th birthday on August 14. Berry and Jones began dating in 2020.

Berry posted a video of her listening to the serenade as she drove along a quiet road looking beautiful, peaceful and serene. She also posted a caption with the video.

“After the year we’ve all had, my heart is full as I’m grateful to see this August 14th,” wrote Berry. “In the midst of the storm, I’ve managed to create happiness, find more peace, and feel more free than ever! Finally, I’m exhaling! Thank you vanO for my b-day serenade ?.”

Hunt, 55, serenaded his love with The Platters’ classic “Smoke Gets In Your Eyes.” The singer previously said that Halle was

his muse.

“In more ways than I can even tell you right now, I could show you rather than I could tell you, and I will show you really soon, I promise. …The inspiration for our relationship goes across everything, even in my parenting. I’m a completely different person, I can say it like that, and I think that it’s improved every aspect of my life.”

Hunt is the father to a 17-year-old son, Drake, from a previous relationship, while Berry has two children, daughter Nahla, 13, from her relationship with model Gabriel Aubry, and seven-year-old Maceo with ex-husband Olivier Martinez.

Next up for Berry is her directorial debut in the Netflix movie Bruised. Berry also stars in the film about a disgraced female MMA fighter who finds redemption. Bruised will debut on Netflix on Nov. 24.
