UPDATE: Faith Evans Asks Court To Terminate Stevie J’s Spousal Support Request

Faith said Stevie better get his hand out of her pocket.

Singer Faith Evans has asked the court to terminate Stevie J’s request for spousal support.

Stevie J, whose real name is Stevie Jordan, filed for a divorce in November in Los Angeles, Calif.

As reported by Sister 2 Sister, 50-year-old Jordan requested that the court award him spousal support from Evans, and it is unclear if the couple had a prenuptial agreement. He also asked that Evans pay his legal fees. The 48-year-old singer-songwriter is reportedly worth

$3 million compared to Stevie’s net worth of $5 million.

In addition to requesting the court terminate Jordan’s spousal support request, Evans has asked that she retain all personal property acquired before the marriage and after the separation date.

Evans, 48, listed the couple’s separation date as May 29, 2020. Jordan lists the separation date as October 19, 2021. California law requires a 50/50 split of all the assets earned when a couple is together.

The music producer also posted a video of the couple at the beach after filing for a divorce, leading some to wonder if they had reconciled.

Jordan also accused Evans of being unfaithful in a video posted and later removed from Instagram.

“We live; they see it,” said Jordan. “It’s cool. F**k you too. I ain’t going nowhere. F**k you too, I hate you too…F**k you b***h. You f**ked [bleep] in my house…So you happy about it, b***h? You are? That’s what you like to do?”

He later apologized for humiliating his wife on social media and said he would always be there for her.

“I’d like to make this video for my wife. A video was released last week that showed me talking crazy to my wife. Publicly humiliating my wife. I’d like to apologize,” he said. “I’d like to apologize to your family. They don’t deserve that either…Nah, she ain’t cheat. I was just in the moment. You know how us guys do. I’d like to take the time to apologize to you, Faith, and let you know I love you. I’m here for you, always. All ways [sic].”

The court has not yet made a decision.
