Tyrese Gibson Goes Back & Forth With Ex Samantha Lee Online

Tyrese Gibson, 44, and his ex-wife Samantha Lee have had another round of drama unfold on social media this past Sunday. The divorced couple went back and forth on Instagram over Gibson’s recent appearance on The Joe Budden Podcast.

Gibson’s Podcast appearance earlier this week featured him chatting with Budden about his former relationship with Lee. He explained how they broke up in 2020 after getting married in 2017, and spoke on the fallout of their relationship. 

Tensions rose when Lee caught wind of the episode dropping, and seemed to take issue with Gibson speaking on their relationship publically. She posted a video sharing her feelings on the situation. 

She captioned the post, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. You can learn a lot about people by how they respond/react to certain boundaries you set. The funny thing is, some people KNOW how they were doing you (probably worse than you even found out about in the moment) and yet you become the horrible person, the villain, in their story because you decided to set a boundary.”

Tyrese didn’t take well to Lee taking shots at him. He took to his own Instagram account to respond, accusing Lee of saying all the things in her video for clout and not because she was actually wronged. 

Gibson wrote, “She wants to be famous, she wants the clout. She had a whole baby and faked a whole marriage to get the BAG. 3 law firms later. Just hear her out guys,” 

“She hates my guts and yet her drivers license still says Gibson. Can you please run me my last name back? Soraya can keep it as our angel. Your trash ass birth name is Samantha Schwalenberg.”

After shutting down Samantha Lee, Gibson admitted to his followers that all the backlash coming from his interview with Budden had gotten so big that his relationship with his current girlfriend has been affected. 

“The Joe Budden Podcast has officially burned down the internet,” Tyrese wrote. “Fellas if you wanna still be married or have a girl for Christmas keep her away from this interview.”

He continued, “My girl is mad at me about the podcast and after five months, she pulled out the vibrator and used it last night.”
