In a promo clip for the show, the Kings of Comedy star is shown hearing different cases while sitting in front of a golden gavel, naturally cracking a few jokes along the way. And while the show doesn’t premiere until next year, many social media users already have a few opinions on the comedian’s latest venture.

Questioning how the Love Don’t Cost A Thing actor will act as a judge without any prior experience, one Twitter user wrote, “Did I miss something? Did Steve Harvey get his Juris Doctor degree? Now he’s getting a judge show? Really???”

Others were clearly here for the comedian’s ABC show. “Judge Steve Harvey sounds like my kinda ignorance.” one fan tweeted.
