Tracee Ellis Ross Shares Photo Recreation of Her Mom, Diana Ross

Like mother, like daughter.

On her Instagram, Tracee Ellis Ross posted a photo shoot of her recreating an iconic photo of her mother, Diana Ross.

The actress and fashionista shared the picture of her mom as a reference and captioned it,”No.1: MAMA.”

She then shared a photo of herself in an outfit and pose uncannily similar to her mom.

Tracee captioned it, “No.2:ME.

Her last photo was of her with her hands in the air seemingly ecstatic for having done such a great job at recreating her mom’s original photo.

The last photo is captioned, “No.3:  NAILED IT!!”

One follower commented under the second photo of the trilogy saying, “What is that like? Wearing something your mom wore? Especially when your mom is such an icon. How cool would that be to see some iconic women’s daughters in their pieces side by side. Beautiful❤️?❤️?❤️? showing that the strong women continues in her daughter.”

Another follower wrote, “Your mom IS Diana Ross, but you killed this pose and took it to another, newer, higher level! ???”

In the photos, Tracee seems to be wearing the same beaded necklace her mother wore in her own photo or at least a replica of it.

Her hair is slicked back in a bun like her mother’s was, and they both wore flashy gold hoop earrings.

The younger Ross wore a yellow halter top beneath her necklace, and her mother styled a gold top beneath hers.

Tracee even went as far as to duplicate the makeup look to be similar to her mom’s in the shoot.
