Tiffany Haddish Collaborates With Snoop Dogg, Lil’ Wayne For New Song ‘Look Like’

"I can't wait for y'all to hear that," she said during an appearance on "The Kelly Clarkson Show."

Tiffany Haddish collaborated with hip-hop veterans Snoop Dogg and Lil’ Wayne on a new song entitled “Look Like,” which will be released soon. The comedienne announced the exciting news on The Kelly Clarkson Show last week.

During the interview, the Girls Trip actress explained that she met Snoop before starting her career as a stand-up comedian. However, Haddish said she and the Compton native’s friendship began after performing Snoop Dogg Presents: Bad Girls of Comedy” for Showtime in 2012. Since then, the 42-year-old said she’s wanted to collaborate on some music with the “Gin and Juice” artist.

“When I was doing stand-up, I had been around him. But we really got to know each other when I did ‘Snoop Dogg’s Bad Girls of Comedy’ for Showtime,” she said. “Like, 13, maybe 15 years ago I did it, and we’ve been friends ever since. And, ever since, I’m always like, ‘Snoop, we need to do a song. Let me get in the music video. Let’s do a song.’ So he was like, ‘Yeah, sis, bring something to the table.’ So I brought one song to the table, and that’s the theme song for the ‘They Ready’ series on Netflix. … And now we just did another song called ‘Look Like,’ and I can’t wait for y’all to hear that. It’s me, Snoop and Lil Wayne. It’s fire.”

In March, Haddish appeared at the Academy Awards and checked a red carpet reporter for her statements regarding the actress’ attire. Lauren Zima from Entertainment Tonight suggested that the Night School star’s custom-made gown was a costume change, Sis2Sis reported.

“Did you do a little costume change?” Zima asked Haddish.

“Um, I’m not wearing a costume. I’m wearing Dolce and Gabbana. It’s called an evening gown, darling.”

Zima was seemingly embarrassed by her comments, saying, “Time of death for me? Right now. “You look gorgeous,” she said, attempting to redeem herself.

“This is not an acting gig. This is my life. This what fame look like,” Haddish said with a shady smile. “This what success look like. This what money look like. This what it look like. I’m just trying to accomplish a lot of things before 50. What are you doing?” Haddish cleverly clapped back at the reporter.

In 2019, Haddish won a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album for her comedy special, Tiffany Haddish: Black Mitzvah, available on Netflix.
