Tichina Arnold Finally Files For Divorce From Serial Cheater Rico Hines

Hines performed in a sex tape that Arnold leaked in a group text in 2016.

Actress Tichina Arnold has finally filed for divorce from Rico Hines, TMZ reported. Hines is a player development coach for the Sacramento Kings. He was caught cheating on Arnold with multiple women back in 2016.

The accomplished actress apparently found a video of her soon-to-be ex-husband having unprotected sex with another woman. The actress sent a group text of Hines in the video having sex with the woman. The former Martin

star announced that her marriage with Hines was over in the group text.

“It’s over between Rico and I. This is where I part ways and all bets are off, wrote Arnold. “I can’t for the life of me understand why Rico would video himself f***ing ‘raw dog’ ONE of his MANY extraneous whores that ‘trick’ on him for his money.”

The couple had only been married for just over three years when the cheating allegations were brought to light, having married in 2012. Hines and Arnold share no children. Arnold has a daughter with music producer Carvin Haggins, 17-year-old Alijah Kai Haggins.

It was expected that the actress would divorce Hines sooner due to his behavior. The two officially separated on January 12, 2016. The actress told People magazine in 2016 that it wasn’t the first time Hines had strayed.

“I had that feeling of, you know, beyond him being my husband, this is supposed to be my friend, my confidant,” said Arnold. “Somebody who I can trust. And when you can’t trust the person that you sleep with every night, there’s a problem. I could no longer trust him. I could no longer lay with him. And it doesn’t make him a horrible person. We all make mistakes, but not with me and not on my time and not in my life.”

It’s beyond the fact that the infidelity, it happens. We make mistakes. And we fixed a few mistakes of his prior infidelities. But when it becomes a pattern, then it’s no longer my problem. There’s a point where you eventually have to jump ship and save yourself, so I just merely saved myself and represented a lot of women that don’t know how to save themselves.”

Arnold is asking the judge to block the court from awarding spousal support to either party. The actress is currently starring with Cedric the Entertainer in the hit sitcom The Neighborhood.
