Teyana Taylor Stops Show To Check On Fan Following Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival Tragedy

In a clip from the concert, Taylor was seen as she walked to the edge of the stage and repeatedly asked if the concertgoer was okay.

“Bring her up here. [Is} She okay? I’m about to retire. You ain’t going to sue me, baby,” she said, throwing a subliminal reference to the legal action that fans have taken after the 2021 Astroworld Fest. “[I] want to make sure you’re good, baby.”

The singer, songwriter, and dancer then proceeded to ask security to get the young lady escorted away from the rest of the crowd and onto the stage so she could breathe.

“She good? Her eyes open? You good?” she continued. After gauging the fan to say the words “rose petal,” Taylor accepted that the fan was in good enough conditions for her to continue.

“Okay, baby. You good,” she said before returning to singing.

Taylor’s precautions come in response to the news of Astroworld fest having gone awry. As previously reported, there were reportedly eight fatalities and hundreds of injuries at the concert, as well as more than a dozen lawsuits that have been filed against Scott, Drake, and Live Nation for their mishandling of the situation.

One of the most recent suits comes from the family of 9-year-old Ezra Blount, who remained in a coma since being trampled at the concert and said they are suing Scott and Live Nation for their “grossly negligent conduct” at the devastating event.
