Taraji P. Henson got real about her mental health journey following her recent month-long trip to Bali, Indonesia. After opening up on her social media with breathtaking pictures from her trip, Henson explained that the reason for her Bali trip wasn’t to take all those pictures but instead, so that she could take some time to care for herself. In an E! News interview on April 11, Henson assuaged her fans’ concerns about her and told the world she was feeling better.

“I had really hit a wall, but I decided to do something about it,” Henson admitted after saying she struggled mentally back in 2022. The
Hidden Figures star expressed to the outlet, “I decided to fight for myself and to dig deep within and work on myself.
