Dr. Naomi Campbell did NOT come to play.

Supermodel icon Naomi Campbell has added one more thing to her impressive list of accomplishments.

On July 11, Campbell received an honorary doctorate from the University of the Creative Arts (UCA) in the United Kingdom and released a heartfelt post on Instagram. The ceremony was held in Royal Festival Hall in London. There, she accepted her honorary doctorate on stage, a gift for her many contributions to the fashion world.

As Naomi stood on the stage, proud and thankful, she shared her gratitude and high hopes for everyone who would be graduating along with her. In the caption of her Instagram post, she thanked her family and those who helped her get to where she is today.

Graduation Day, I’m beyond words of gratitude and emotion to receive such an honor from @unicreativearts. Thank you for the warm embrace class of 20, 21, and 22. @valeriemorriscampbell & my family for standing by side .. and my chosen family .. And thank you to my higher power GOD Almighty for guiding me each day .. and my biggest blessing, my daughter .” Further down in her caption, Naomi listed some of the greatest supporters in her academic journey through UCA.
