Snoop Dogg Asks Fans To Pray For His Mother and Himself

We certainly wish her the best.

On Monday, rapper Snoop Dogg took to his Instagram and asked fans to keep himself and his mother in their prayers. The photo was a picture of his mother, dressed in red and holding a bouquet of flowers.

At the time, he did not give details about why he made such a request. By Friday, Snoop Dogg had again reached out to his followers, repeating his requests for prayer and including a series of Instagram posts featuring his beloved mother, Beverly Tate.

In one of the photos, the 49-year-old rapper wrote, “Love you mama,” followed by several emojis, one of which was the sad emoji. Snoop also posted a photo with the caption, “Mama, Thank u for having me could of [sic] gave me up, but u raised a family.”

Snoop has never been quiet about his mother’s influence on him and how strong their relationship is. According to him, she was the motivation behind his apology to Gayle King after her comments about late basketball star Kobe Bryant.

“She didn’t say I was wrong. She just said, ‘You know I raised you better than that,’” he said on an episode of Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk

.

The rapper still has not shared with his nearly 60 million Instagram followers any details of the situation is that has him calling upon them to harness their spiritual energy towards his mother’s well-being.

However, since this is Mother’s Day weekend, it is no surprise that he is fraught with emotion at this time.

We know how special the presence and love a mother is and will certainly keep Snoop’s mother in our thoughts and prayers.
