SNEAK PEEK: Martin Lawrence And Will Smith In Police Gear Filming ‘Bad Boys 4’

We can't wait!!!

Bad Boys franchise fans were given a sneak peek at what’s to come for the upcoming Bad Boys 4 film.

A photo emerged online displaying the Bad Boys 4 stars Martin Lawrence, 58, and Will Smith, 54, donning police uniforms, looking ready to fight Miami crimes headed Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett’s way.

Lawrence rocked a long-sleeved shirt with a bulletproof police vest on top. He had his prop rifle strapped around his neck and a pair of black sunglasses resting on his face.

Smith wore the same vest but opted for a short-sleeved shirt.

This wasn’t the first time the two were spotted filming scenes for the highly anticipated fourth installment.

In May, Lawrence and Smith were spotted filming a scene with the Martin actor standing on the ledge of a building wearing a hospital that blew in the breeze as Smith looked around. At times, Lawrence outstretched his hands.

Sis2Sis reported that there were concerns the film would be canceled following Smith’s controversial Oscars slap since many of his projects were pushed. However, Sony Chairman Tom Rothman confirmed Bad Boys 4 was still happening.

“That was inaccurate. That movie’s been in development and still is,” Rothman ensured. “There weren’t any brakes to pump because the car wasn’t moving. That was a very unfortunate thing that happened, and I don’t think it’s really my place to comment except to say that I’ve known Will Smith for many years, and I know him to be a good person.”

Lawrence and Smith confirmed the fourth installment was coming in a video posted on social media.

“It’s about that time,” Smith exclaimed in the video. “It’s official, y’all. Bad Boys for life…this is Bad Boys 4. It’s official.”

While Lawrence and Smith will continue their roles as Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, fans won’t see the same Theresa Burnett, initially played by Theresa Randle. Sis2Sis reported that Tasha Smith would replace Randle’s role as Lawrence’s wife.
