Mother’s Day was on and popping for some celebrities’ mothers. We’re not talking flowers and cards, but ribbon bows on luxurious cars.
Rapper Kash Doll and musician H.E.R. raised the bar this Mother’s Day by surprising their mothers with expensive rides.
Kash Doll surprised her mom for her 50th birthday and Mother’s Day with a brand-new Lexus.
Kash Doll’s family gathered outside and watched as the rapper’s mom acted a fool upon seeing her new ride, hopping around and hollering.
“This how you turn 50,” Kash Doll said behind the camera.
The family hyped the 50-year-old up as she celebrated her new whip.
Kash Doll’s mom also received a Louis Vuitton box full of cash. The “Ice Me Out” rapper posted the exciting moment on Instagram, writing in the caption, “Happy birthday and happy Mother’s Day to my queen, the lady who made me who I am today!! Turning 50 is a half of 100, so I had to make sure the lady that had five kids at 21 finally get a chance to live with no worries. I hope you living your best life now. This the least I can do.”
On Monday, H.E.R. posted a video to Instagram, showing her mother’s reaction to her brand-new Mercedes-Benz whip.
“Surprising my mom with her dream car,” the “Damage” singer wrote over the video.
The singer, whose real name is Gabriella Wilson, had her mom, Agnes, walk into the Mercedes-Benz shop with a blindfold on. As soon as the blindfold was removed, mama Agnes was taken aback.
H.E.R.’s mom became emotional, and the two embraced at the end of the video.
“She was in shock,” the “Focus” singer wrote in the post’s caption. “Seeing my mom happy is the greatest gift I could ever receive. She works sooo hard she deserves the entire universe. Mahala Kita, Mommy. Moments like this are what make the journey worth it. It’s what I do it for!!!!!!!!”
Mahal Kita is a Filipino expression that means “I love you.”
