Shemar Moore Recovering From Foot Surgery

Moore was shown in an Instagram video with Dr. Robert J. Joseph II post operation.

According to an Instagram post made by his podiatrist, Shemar Moore just had foot surgery. Moore was featured in a clip seemingly in recovery on Dr. Robert J. Joseph II’s account five days ago on May 15.

In the video, Dr. Joseph revealed that he had conducted a successful bunion correction surgery. He sat beside his patient, Moore, who appeared happy and smiling for the camera. The actor was sporting bandages on his foot. The doctor explained that Moore needed the operation because one of his toes was stiff, bending inwards. The

Criminal Minds alum said in the video, “What’s good— it’s Shemar Moore in the building. God and my momma blessed me with a lot of things. But from the ankles down, I was all f***** up. But, Dr. J. is about to make me a foot model.”

In the post’s caption, Dr. Joseph wrote, “I do many procedures weekly, but this one was super special. When @shemarfmoore came to me and asked me to help, I was more than happy to get on board. I know what this man does for work, and to make sure he does it in the most comfortable way was my focus.”

Shemar came in with Hallux limitus secondary to a subluxated joint: in other words, the toe was bent inward, and it couldn’t bend. He had to wear a pad where the bone was sticking out. Once I removed it, and shifted his bone over and screwed it all into place, he will soon be able to be the action hero on @swatcbs, pain-free.”

As previously reported by Sis2Sis, Moore was recently all over social media following the sudden cancellation of his show S.W.A.T. Moore was vocal about CBS making a mistake with their choice to stop the show, saying,

“CBS is either going to wake up and realize they made a mistake. Sony is going to do their math and realize that this is not the right move. Make some f****** noise and let ‘em know that canceling ‘S.W.A.T.’ is a f—king mistake.”

Moore seemingly rallied enough outcry to sway CBS since the company announced the renewal of S.W.A.T season 7 soon after.
