Serena Williams Falls Asleep During Date Night with Husband Alexis Ohanian

This is the cutest little moment.

Serena Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, recently had a date night at the Miami Heat Arena to watch the team play against the Milwaukee Bucks.

However, the sporty date did not go as planned for the tennis legend, who ended up falling asleep during the game while Ohanian stayed wide awake.

In an Instagram post, Ohanian shared a photo of himself watching the game while Williams dozed off in a private suite at Kaseya Center.

“Mom & Dad night out,” Ohanian wrote in his caption.

One fan anticipating Williams’ response said, “I’m not sleeping, I’m resting my eyes.”

Williams also shared the photo on her Instagram page with the caption, “Papa,” and a red heart. Their post has since received over 103,000 likes.

Williams and Ohanian’s love story began in 2015 when they both stayed in the same hotel in Rome. One year after dating, Ohanian proposed to Williams at the same hotel that sparked their romance. Williams wrote a sweet poem on Reddit about the proposal, describing how Ohanian surprised her with a bag packed and a carriage to take her to Rome. At the same table where they first met, Ohanian got down on one knee and proposed, and Williams said yes.

Before getting married, Williams and Ohanian welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., into the world in September 2017. Two months later, they were officially married.

Williams has stepped away from professional tennis and recently announced at the Met Gala that she is pregnant with her second child. Ohanian put

his hand on Williams’ stomach on the red carpet, indicating her pregnancy.

Fans will eagerly await her return to tennis and the new addition to her family.
