Safaree Samuels Wants $50K From Erica Mena for Property She Destroyed with Bleach and Paint

This messy divorce just got messier.

Safaree Samuels wants his estranged wife, Erica Mena, to pay him $50,000 for property she allegedly destroyed while pregnant with their son.

Samuels filed court documents seeking compensation for motorcycles and sneakers Mena allegedly destroyed with bleach and sneakers, reported TMZ. The Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta star claims the incident occurred on May 23, two days after Mena filed for divorce. She was eight months pregnant at the time.

The papers say Mena violated a domestic relation standing order which mandates the couple is not allowed to destroy each other’s property or harass the other party. Samuels accused Mena of cutting the laces off several pairs of expensive sneakers and pouring bleach all over them. Additionally, she reportedly doused 2 motorcycles and a four-wheeler in paint. Her soon-to-be-ex noted Mena poured the paint in the vehicles’ tailpipes and gas tanks, preventing Samuels from driving them.

He is requesting a judge award him $50,000 and is considering pressing felony charges for criminal destruction. The court documents state Samuels has video proof of Mena’s behavior and is willing to hand them over to bolster his case.

This isn’t the first time Samuels has filed papers against Mena since she initiated their divorce. Last month, he asked a judge to grant him permission to be present for his son’s birth. The baby, Legend Brian Samuels, was born

on June 28.

On Wednesday, Mena posted a glimpse of her baby boy for the first time on Instagram.

The pictures showed the newborn with his big sister, Safire. The 18-month-old is the couple’s firstborn. Mena also has a 14-year-old son from another relationship. One of the slides in the post appeared to throw a little shade at their daddy.

“I officially have a different type of strength now,” Mena wrote. “Nothing I can’t do on my own, especially when it comes to them.”

On her own? Messy boots.
