Reality Star Brittish Williams Pleads For Christmas Delay Before Prison Stint

Reality TV star Brittish Williams, who is set to surrender on December 11, 2023, to begin her four-year prison sentence, is making a dramatic last-minute plea to the courts. She’s begging for a delay in her sentencing, all in an attempt to spend a heartfelt Christmas with her 5-year-old daughter, Dash. Williams’ recent legal maneuver has stirred up quite a buzz, and the world watches as this reality star navigates the stormy seas of the legal system.

Williams’ legal woes stem from a series of 15 felony fraud charges, including the misuse of people’s Social Security Numbers, false IRS reporting, wire fraud, and bank fraud. The judge had initially ordered her to surrender by December 11, leaving her with little time to celebrate the holidays with her daughter. However, her legal team has gone to great lengths to make her case.

According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, Williams and her attorney argue that they are still in the process of finding suitable living arrangements for her mother, who will be entrusted with the care of Dash during Williams’ time behind bars. They claim that a little extra time is needed to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for her daughter. “Ms. Williams and her mother have been working to find the necessary place,” the motion reads. “They believe that she will be able to move in by the end of December. A little more time is needed to get a suitable living space for them. They have been working on it. They will not need more than a 30-day extension to get all of these issues finalized.”

In a surprising twist, Williams’ legal team has proposed a new surrender date of January 11th in their filing. This additional month, they argue, will make all the difference in helping Dash adjust to the impending changes in her life.

The saga doesn’t end there. After her initial sentencing back in October, Williams’ attorney filed an appeal, arguing that their client was not being “treated as a first-time offender due to her celebrity status.” They are actively seeking to have the verdict overturned in a higher court, adding another layer of intrigue to this legal drama.
