Rappers Cardi B And Offset Are Splitsville, ‘I’ve Been Single For A Minute’

Cardi B confirmed eagle-eyed fans’ suspicions about her and Offset’s relationship after they noticed the couple unfollowed each other on social media.

The “Bongos” rapper took to Instagram Live to declare she was single, claiming it had been that way for a while.

“I’ve been single for a minute now,” Cardi B said. “I know today has been an eventful day. I don’t pay mind to none of that. Like, I don’t care about none of that. I don’t want you to put me in none of that. I don’t know if y’all been getting clues from me, from my live…or my stories. When I put certain music or from my own followings. When it comes for today’s events and stuff, I don’t think it’s true. I don’t care to find out because I’ve been single for a minute now. But I have been too afraid to like… I’m not afraid. I just don’t know how to tell the world.”

Cardi dove into how there were moments she wanted to protect her new status to the world but didn’t know how.

She continued, “But I feel like today has been a sign. The last time I got on Live, I kind of wanted to tell you guys but I didn’t know how to tell you. So…I changed my mind. But It has been like this for a minute now and I just took it as a sign.”

Cardi then spoke about her New Years resolutions.

“I want to start 2024 like fresh, open,” Cardi persisted. ” I don’t know. I’m curious for a new life. For a new beginning. I’m excited. New look, new life, new everything.”

The 31-year-old hip-hop star said she had hinted at her singleness for a while but was surprised when fans didn’t get it.

Cardi is ready to drop “dead weight” from her life in 2024.

The two silently tied the knot in 2017, but cheating allegations dampened their marriage and in 2020, the rapper filed for divorce only to withdraw later.

Recently, fans noticed the two unfollowed each other on Instagram and Cardi wrote on her story, “You know when you just outgrow
relationships. I’m tired of protecting peoples feelings…GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!”
