Quinton Aaron From ‘The Blind Side’ Loses Nearly 100 Pounds

And he ain't done yet.

Actor Quinton Aaron is celebrating a nearly 100-pound weight loss and recently shared before and after pictures with TMZ on Feb. 21.

Aaron, like many, admitted to gaining weight during the pandemic due to binge eating. The actor said he would begin his day with two jumbo-sized KitKats along with two packs of Reese’s. The actor said he would also sometimes eat two big sandwiches at once and consume a lot of bread.

The Blind Side actor also noted that he would always order a chocolate dessert if he went out to eat. The 37-year-old said he weighed 559 pounds before he lost the weight and now weighs 462 pounds. The 6’8″ actor has a goal weight of 325 or 300 pounds.

Aaron said he was motivated to lose weight to attain his goals with his production company and music.

“I used the new year as a way to get a new me,” he said.

Aaron said he dropped the weight by cutting out bread and sweets such as candy bars from his diet. He tries to stick to a keto diet, a low-carb diet that incorporates healthy fats and protein. Aaron said he eats a lot of Cobb salads for lunch on the keto diet.

The actor said he also exercises,  stretches and sometimes fasts. He hopes to lose another 64 pounds by his birthday on May 10. Quinton said he would then be at the same weight as he was while filming The Blind Side.

Aaron is best known for playing professional football player Michael Oher in the Academy Award-nominated film, The Blind Side

with actress Sandra Bullock. The talented actor has also starred in Be Kind Rewind, 1982, The Ministers, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Halfway, which he also produced.

Aaron also has an organization called “The Quinton Aaron Foundation” that provides encouragement, confidence, hope and resources to kids battling self-esteem or confidence issues.

Congratulations, Quinton!
