Queen Naija Defends Her Amended Cakes

Whether organic or processed, all cakes matter!

Former YouTube personality turned singer Queen Naija decided to do what every mildly aggrieved pop culture figure does and clap back at her haters for dissing her CSC – cosmetic surgery cakes, Bossip reported

Queen shared a photo of herself on her Instagram page in an animal print swimsuit and standing in the obligatory “look at my a**” pose, and the fury began. Although most comments seemed to be positive, if not borderline creepy, everyone was not as complimentary about her plastic surgery.

In 2019, Queen Naija had a tummy tuck and Brazilian Butt Lift (also referred to as a “BBL”). She was very open about the procedures and documented the process as a series of vlogs on her YouTube channel. In Aug. 2020, in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic, she shared a video of her getting her revamped cakes adjusted.

The “Misunderstood” singer (no pun intended) responded to her foes by tweeting, “Lol, y’all body shame people for being fat. Y’all body shame skinny people. Y’all body shame mom bodies, and surgery bodies as long as I love my body, and my n***a love it, I’m good.

I’m sexy & I know it.”

The Michigan-born singer released her debut album, “Missunderstood,” last year but had gained popularity from her appearance as a contestant on American Idol. Her 2018 self-titled EP performed well on the Billboard 200.

Shortly thereafter, tweets and vlogs resurfaced of her using colorist and generally distasteful language to describe the dark-skinned girls she claimed bullied her as a child. She also suggested that a dark-skinned woman bathe in bleach. Of course, those tweets are “unavailable.”

That could be why in this generation that’s obsessed with surgically-enhanced butts and vacuumed guts, some people were not willing to give miss Queen Naija any peace after she posted those photos.

Nonetheless, everyone should be able to agree that self-validation is the most important validation no matter how their butt looks. Queen’s “n***a,” who also loves her gluteus maximus, is named Clarence.
