Porsha Williams & Simon Guobadia Plan To Have Three Separate Weddings

The reality star announced her engagement earlier this month.

Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Porsha Williams shocked everyone when she broke the news on her Instagram that she and fellow reality star Simon Guobadia were not only together, but engaged to be married. Due to Guobadia recently filing for divorce from his estranged wife Falynn Guobadia in mid-January, many fans were left confused about William’s and Guobadia’s relationship timeline.

Nonetheless, the two appear to be genuinely in love, posing for several pictures on the Gram and

making it rain napkins in the club since their public debut. And despite critique from fans that she’s moving too fast, Williams is ready to tie the knot with her new beau and is doing it big with three separate weddings.

Due to their different cultural backgrounds, Williams revealed on Dish Nation that the soon-to-be-married couple will be having separate weddings to honor Guobadia’s Nigerian heritage, while also allowing her family and friends to witness the wedding in the U.S.

“Well not necessarily themed, because he’s African,” she said on the radio show. “So we’re gonna have a native custom ceremony and a regular wedding.” Hinting at a third destination wedding, the 39-year-old also

disclosed, “And then we’re gonna have another wedding at one of the houses that are out of the country,”

This will be the second marriage for Williams, who was married to former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kordell Stewart in 2011. Two years later, the couple went through a messy divorce which involved Stewart changing the locks to their shared home, forcing Williams to find a new home.

But this time around, she’s hoping things turn out different.

Gushing about her new engagement, she wrote on Instagram earlier this month, “He makes me so happy and to me, that is what matters most…It’s truly a beautiful moment in my life & we cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together.”
