Plies Said That Women Should Not Wear Bonnets Out In Public

Why do men feel the need to comment on women's business?!

Last week, rapper Plies shared some unnecessary personal comments on social media about his belief that women should not be wearing bonnets out in public.

On May 21, he tweeted, “It Should Be A Law U Shouldn’t Be Able To Wear Bonnets No More Than 6 Feet Outside Your Residence.”

He then continued to say, “They Wearing These MTFers In The Airport Like They A Louis Vuitton Bucket Hat!!!!! Ain’t In Y’all Business Ladies I Just Thought They Was Suppose To Be To Slept In!!! ? .”

He even went on to compare the bonnet as being the equivalent of a durag.

Plies is no fool, though. He made sure to cover his a** in the first tweet by mentioning that he was not trying to get into any woman’s business due to his comment.

However, he meant the tweet, women on Twitter weren’t about to let Plies slide with this one.

Someone even dragged him for having a white folk mentality on the subject.

Respectfully, Plies needs to find another topic, preferably concerning men, to spill the tea on.
