P-Valley blew up last summer and solidified its status as a show worth tuning into, filled with drama, comedic relief and perfectly-timed unexpected twists. But perhaps even more interesting than the plot was the number of utterly gorgeous Black women featured on the popular Starz series, including leads Brandee Evans and Shannon Thornton, who became breakout stars following the show’s acclaim.
Friends both on and off the screen, Evans and Thornton turned heads over the past weekend when they posted a picture of themselves looking fine as ever. Both actresses were invited to the 2021 Women in Film virtual panel, and despite not attending the event in person, they did not disappoint fans with their sultry style and fierce looks.
Evans, protagonist and stip club veteran Mercedes on P-Valley, donned sleek bubble pigtails with a colorful printed Balmain dress and gold hoop earrings. Thornton, who plays Keyshawn AKA Ms. Mississippi on the series, wore a cleavage-baring Rat & Boa white pantsuit complete with a low plunging neckline and gold accent jewelry.
Fellow P-Valley actor Nicco Annan entered Evan’s Instagram comment section to praise and applaud his co-stars, writing “When I tell you these WOMEN RIGHT HUUUUUUURRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!”
Keeping their feet on everyone’s neck, the beautiful duo showed out on Instagram again on Monday, this time revealing their outfit choice for an Essence Festival panel event featuring the female cast of P-Valley.

“Happy M&M Monday from Mercedes and Miss Mississippi,” Evans captioned the photo of the pair on Instagram, posing in a frilly sheer blouse with khaki slacks and showing off her sexy business casual style.
Thornton was captured in a strapless red dress, styled by Black fashion stylist Mickey Freeman. According to Evans, Thornton did her own hair for the event, opting for loose, wavy tresses that perfectly frame her face.
P-Valley’s second season is currently being filmed by cast members in Atlanta, Georgia. So far, there’s no official release date for the return of The Pynk.
