Nicki Minaj Removes Husband Kenneth Petty’s Name From Twitter Amongst Harassment Lawsuit

The couple is being sued by the victim from Petty's 1995 conviction.

Rapper Nicki Minaj has removed Kenneth Perry’s name from her Twitter account just as news comes of a lawsuit against the couple. Jennifer Hough, the victim of Petty’s 1995, alleged attempted rape, has claimed that the couple threatened and harassed her in an attempt to change her story.

Shortly after Minaj and Petty began dating, Hough claimed that Minaj offered to fly her and her family to Los Angeles, provided Hough amended her story. Minaj also allegedly made comments about Petty being falsely accused. Hough did not accept the offer.

When Hough and Petty were 16-years-old, she alleged that Petty tried to rape her. Petty was convicted in 1995 of first-degree attempted rape and spent four years in prison.

As Sister 2 Sister reported, Petty neglected to file as a sex offender after moving to California and was arrested. Petty recently agreed to a plea deal but has not been sentenced yet.

The lawsuit claims that after she declined the offer to visit Minaj in Los Angeles, Hough was harassed with unwanted visits and phone calls offering her $500,000 to change her story. She said that her friends and family were also harassed. Hough began to feel unsafe and moved in August of last year.
