Nicki Minaj Praises 14-Year-Old Chicago Boy Who Protected His Mom Against Attacker And Offered To Pay His College Tuition

"She raised a dope kid [and] should be so proud," Nicki Minaj said in her Instagram Story.

Leave it to rapper Nicki Minaj to offer to pay for somebody’s college tuition. The Barbz nation ruler did it again for the 14-year-old Chicago boy arrested after murdering a man to protect his mother.

The “Starships” hitmaker took to her Instagram story and praised the teen for his heroic actions, offering to help with his college tuition.

“That 14-year-old boy that backed [that] hammer out when that grown a** man was punching his mother in the face as if she were a MAN is a true hero. If he wants to go to college, I’d love to help,” Nicki wrote. “It’s what ANY son should’ve done for their MOTHER. She raised a dope kid [and] should be so proud. Also, God knew [before] she knew that she’d be attacked that day [and] made sure they had protection on DECK. God is GOOD.”

According to News Onyx, Carlishia Hood, 35, got into a heated disagreement with 32-year-old Jeremy Brown on Juneteenth at a Polish hotdog fast food restaurant called Maxwell Street Express, located at 116 S. Halsted St.

At some point during the argument, Brown struck Hood multiple times, prompting her son to draw a firearm and shoot Brown in his back.

It was reportedly revealed that Brown ran out of the restaurant, and Hood and her son followed him out. She encouraged her son to kill Brown, who was shot twice.

The two exited the scene and went home together. Brown succumbed to his injuries.

The 14-year-old faced multiple charges — first-degree murder, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and illegal possession of a handgun. The court charged Hood with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The Cook County prosecutors agreed with Hood and the teen, dropping the charges.
