Nicki Minaj and Wendy Williams Squash Their Beef

We are happy to see two queens getting along again.

After months of alleged beef between rapper Nicki Minaj and daytime talk show host Wendy Williams, the two have decided to leave it all in the past.

When Nicki Minaj released her latest and most recent mixtape, Beam Me Up Scotty, Williams praised the rapper.

“She still has to compete with those young girls because they are people in the making, but Nicki, to me, is definitely an icon and definitely a legend,” Williams said to her show guest Michael Yo. “She’s done things they haven’t even touched — even if they have hit music.”

“Nicki is different from the rest,” she added.

That to which Nicki returned the love on an Instagram comment and said, “You are an icon & legend as well, @wendyshow.”

The kind exchange comes as a fresh start to the two after they had a public squabble due to comments initiated by Williams.

Williams made comments on her show about the attempted rape conviction of Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty, and Minaj clapped back and let the world know she wasn’t fond of the TV host’s remarks.

“You should have never married him because you’ve ruined everything about what your brand could’ve been..again,” Williams previously said. “You’re never going to stand a chance when you’re with a man who pulls a knife at rape point.”

Minaj later said on her radio show, Queen Radio, “It’s not about doing your job. There are people who report the news and there are people who do it with an evil intent in their heart.”

Minaj also decided to chime her opinion in on Wendy Williams’ divorce from husband, Kevin Hunter, saying, “I pray for you because I know you’re hurting and I know you must be sick and humiliated …. So I really wanted to pray for you today, because look at where you are now in your life.”

It seems like the two have moved on from the pettiness and buried the hatchet.
